Practice Principal – Registered Architect NSW ARB 10634
Meet our Practice Principal
Simon came to architecture later in life, having already had a successful career as a management consultant, where he had a reputation for understanding how new technology can impact and improve both businesses and the life of the individual.
On emigrating to Australia, Simon studied architecture at UTS in Sydney, graduating in 2013. During this time, he developed a passion for using technology and science backed research to ensure that not only do buildings look great, but they also work effectively and efficiently.
After gaining experience working for large practices across a wide range of projects, Simon set up SEED so he could focus on work where he can make the biggest difference. This has led to a focus on helping clients build quality homes which are not only beautiful but also provide a comfortable and healthy environment while being kind to both your pocket and the planet we live on.
An architect must not only be able to design great homes but must also help clients get them approved and built. Because of the importance that Simon places on this role, and the experience he has gained, he teaches Project Management to architecture students at UTS and UNSW.
The NSW Architects Registration Board has recently appointed Simon as an Architects Practice Exam Assessor, a role that interviews applicants who have applied to become to become Registered Architects to assess suitability and sufficient knowledge.
Simon is a family man who is taking great pleasure and pride in watching his daughters progress through university and onto their own careers. Whenever time allows, he can be found on the water, either surf skiing or sailing.
